Wow! I LOVED this book! I love Aladdin books and this book and series was absolutely amazing! I couldn’t wait for this book to be released, and was waiting on pins and needles. Lucy is a great writer and really immerses her readers into her story. I could really see everything that was happening. I loved the sweet clean romance that she wrote and I’m looking forward to reading more of her books! I read each of the three books in one day.This book is not the best stand alone book, you really should read the previous books to fully appreciate this story. BUT THIS SERIES!
4.5 Stars I have really enjoyed this series. I appreciate that this book, like the one before it, did not have the language of the first. I’m not a fan of language in my books in general, but especially in fantasy because a different world would have their own words of offense or curses. I love that the book is clean. I LOVE that the hero is an admirable person—still human and conflicted, but a man of honor. It seems to be a trend right now for every hero to be an anti-hero. I miss reading stories with real heroes. I love the growth and development of the characters. There is a moral to the story just like old fairytales. I loved the ending, probably one of the most satisfying I have read in a long time. I liked that things weren’t handled completely stereotypically. I especially saw this with the handling of the villain. The author somehow managed to show that making the right decision can be complicated, but also showed that there is right and wrong. She was descriptive enough to help me visualize the story without it being overdone. I loved the different names. It really helped make the story feel authentic. The story was very well developed and unique. The only recommendation I could give is further proof reading to catch grammatical mistakes. For me, though, storytelling takes precedence. I will look forward to more book from this author. I especially look forward to Cora’s story.
The third and final book in the Cahraman story. Lucy Tempest is a new author to me and I will definitely read her other books. I read the first in the series and was intrigued from the beginning. I love fairy tales with a twist. Great adventure. Memorable characters some you love and others you can’t stand. Would make a great audio book or just a fun read aloud story.
Great conclusion to a great series. I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys a good romance and adventure
This story took me on a thrilling ride with so many unexpected twists and turns. I loved every moment of it. Although Ada and Cyrus' story has been wrapped up, I'm dying to read the other fairy tales that overlap this one, especially Fairuza's story and Bonnie's story.
In this unpredictable ending to the Cahraman trilogy, our myriad questions are answered as loose ends are tied up neatly in Cahraman.And I'm left anxiously anticipating the coming stories of Bonnie and the remaining candidates.
I used to think Cyrus was too prefect, but that issue, and many cliffhangers were neatly resolved. There were still one or two things that weren't adequately explained, and the story was still accompanied by the author's penchant for incomplete sentences. The ending, action, and continued story were fabulous and leave me wanting to read more!
Fun, feelgood, and clean! Good pacing, too; I'm looking forward to the next books in this world.
