Tim Ander's guides on card games have been great thus far. This book was a great beginners guide into the game of pinochle and explains how to play the game with 2, 3, and 4 people. I found this to be a very useful guide.
This was pretty informative for a newcomer to the game of pinochle that has a bit of an idea on how to play already. I still have a few unanswered questions. If you already have a good understanding of card games, bidding, and trick tacking then this would be an easy to read and understand book. There are so many variations (house rules) but this I believe gives a great rundown of the basic rules.
Very basic introductory review. I was super disappointed. Similar or better directions and explanations can be found anywhere on the internet for free. I was hoping that lots of sample hands and sample games or interesting arising situations would be demonstrated, but no. It does, however, provide usefulness as a coaster.
Good. I found the book elementary. The instructions were good for a beginner as the book states. I was expecting a little more on strategy.Over all the book is good.
game is boaring, but title says it all
I mistakenly said I didn't receive this----BUT I did, it was at the bottom on the container, under the glass containers.
Good basic guide for beginners... and for those who haven’t played for 30 years!
I like the fact that the book didn't have too many pages, but it wasn't exactly what it thought it would be.
