My daughter, age 7, was bored and afraid of chapter books. She would deny to read them! I heard that this book is fun so I ordered it on my ipad. I made the letters large so she did not notice the difference. She absolutely loved it and now she is proud she is reading AND ENJOYING a chapter book!! :)
I bought this as a first day of school gift for a third grader. The book itself is funny. Hopefully, it will help to instill the love for reading and want my third grader to read the next book in the series as soon as he/she finishes this one. All the Weird School books are awesomely written and great for children learning to read "chapter books"!
My child is in first grade and is a big reader. I bought her this book, one of her first chapter books, because it seemed fun. It's an okay read and she is able to read it well, I wont be buying more of these books though. It's just OK
These books are hilarious. My nephew is in the 1st grade and has read 2 books of these. I’m super proud of his reading, he’s improving his pronunciation on a lot of words, able to read difficult words and enjoys reading. Over all these books are awesome for children will be ordering the whole set.
Highly regret exposing my daugter to garbage literature at such a young age.
My 3rd grader loves this book.
The entire story is negative about school and learning.
