I have His complete Works of 1400 plus pages...I've been reading him for awhile now and his words of insight have changed my life in relationship to God's Word. This is a great tool of insight in a world of ongoing time restraints, his poignant statements don't compromise his loyalty to the Word of God and we are asked to take it or leave it based on that precept......and that many men won't do. Oswald Chambers isn't for the faint-of-heart. Many of his quotes included in this book are hard to take, as Chambers presents a higher standard for Christ-followers than most classic writers.
No one better than Oswald Chambers
The Quotable Oswald Chambers is a wonderful collection of quotes by Oswald Chambers. I love the fact they're all compiled in one book. The only drawback for me is that, personally, I would have liked to see more short quotes (1 or 2 sentences). Other than that, I think it's a great book and the price is right. I would definitely recommend it to any fan of Oswald Chambers!
